Thanks for signing up to the WomenRock 2026 pre-sale list! You are first in line to get your hands on this year’s tickets, woohoo! **Please note: tickets are sold on the condition you have your own climbing shoes, and that you can tie in and top-rope belay**
£185 (including accommodation)
Accommodation for Friday & Saturday nights is in the Scout hut in Hathersage. It’s quite basic but perfectly functional for our needs, including a well-equipped kitchen and hot showers. You’ll be sleeping in one of the bunk rooms - please bring your own sleeping bag. Please see below about travel arrangements.
£155 (without accommodation) - if you prefer to camp, or want to source your own bed for the weekend, this is the ticket for you. We will be climbing at Burbage and Stanage, not far from Hathersage village. There are a few campsites nearby, plus BnBs and pubs/hotels. Please see below about travel arrangements
TRAVEL & LOGISTICS
Map link to Hathersage village here.
We will be organising lifts to/from Hathersage village each day to take everyone to/from the crag, so that we don’t have too many unnecessary cars. If you’re coming to WomenRock by public transport, Hathersage village has its own train station that links to Sheffield and Manchester. There are also local buses that serve the area between Sheffield & Castleton, please check times here. There are very few taxis in the area, so please plan how you’ll be getting to your accommodation if you’re making your own arrangements. The Scout hut is less than a 10 minute walk from the station, so Holly and the team will assume anyone staying at the hut will walk there, unless advised otherwise.
Nearer the time there will be a WhatsApp group chat set up to facilitate car shares from London/Sheffield/other cities etc, but this is not guaranteed and is for participants to organise. Holly and the team will ensure everyone who is in Hathersage itself on Saturday & Sunday morning will get a lift to the crag.
A recap of what’s included in the price:
Climbing & instructed guidance for both days, access to all weekend workshops and related events (tba)
Saturday night communal dinner in the hut (optional but encouraged). Please bring all your other meals & all drinks. There are food shops in Hathersage in case you want to buy supplies there.
Travel to/from the crag each day, from Hathersage village. Please make your own way to Hathersage on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Alternatively, if you live locally, you can meet us at the crag each morning.
What you need to bring:
Climbing shoes, harness, chalk, sleeping bag (if staying at the hut), waterproofs (just in case)
Also bring if you have them (we have spares otherwise)
Helmet, belay device
A full kit list will be sent out nearer the time.
