This 1-day course is designed for competent indoor lead climbers who want to learn to sport climb independently outdoors.

Location: Peak District (nr Eyam)

1. Types of sport climbing equipment

2. Safe lead belaying

3. Effective clipping technique

4. Rethreading anchors

5. Common problems and how to avoid them

6. Using guidebooks

7. Using a clipstick

You must have your own climbing harness, shoes, be able to tie in and lead belay, and be comfortable leading minimum f5+ indoors.

Travel is not included. Local collection from nearby train station is possible on request.
